We’ve used Chitwood for mulch and gravel in the past, and the materials have been excellent quality. The service has always been great as well. Recently they went above and beyond in a way that meant a lot to us. We got a flat tire on Hollis Lakes and pulled across the street. Barry, the owner, helped us with a temporary fix so we could make it to a tire center, and Ronnie helped put the tire back on and filled it with air. That kind of help says a lot about a business. I don’t often leave reviews, but this was worth recognizing. Highly recommend them.

Very nice to work with. Explained what I needed and the best way to pick it up with the truck I had. In and out! Prices were very reasonable and unexpected based on what I saw online at other companies. I did a lot of online research before choosing them. They didn't disappoint.

The Stone I bought was a little bit pricier than similar colored stone at some other yards, but it was actually a tiny bit bigger(awesome for my application), and they were very easy to deal with!

Chitwood knows their stuff! Barry recommended I spread some compost soil before putting fescue seed down and it worked like a charm. This area of my yard is very shaded and I’ve struggled to get grass to grow but spreading Chitwoods dirt first did the trick. Highly recommend them!

This place is now my go-to for ALL landscaping materials. The quality of the topsoil is amazing and the price of 6 yards delivered shocked me because it was so low! Barry is an ace with the dump truck considering our driveway isn't the easiest to navigate. Everyone I spoke with was helpful, kind, knowledgeable and beyond efficient. Looking forward to doing business with them again soon.
